Opening — The First Chapter:

While an intoxicating accord of sweet fruit dominates the opening of More Than Words, it also indicates the unpredictability to come. Sweet and sour fruits open the composition hints of apple, rhubarb and possibly lemon against a soft, jammy rose creating an opening that is bright, fruity and immediately captivating. The rose jam comes in right away heavy and rich, a damask rose and cardamom combination that is warm and beautifully blended. Individual moments of smoky labdanum and wood creep in just enough to surprise and enchant.

Heart — The Silk Road:

It makes you feel like traveling the Silk Road fruity and sweet, but not so over the top sweet, this being due to the oud and wood notes which help to balance the sweetness beautifully. Facets of oud start to emerge from the first thirty minutes at first just slightly animalic but growing in strength, becoming more commanding while a salty undertone comes through against the continuing rose bloom. Very nice woods and rose notes make for one spectacular journey in olfactory hyperspace this stuff is strong and will be noticed. It winds like something with well-mixed oud and rose typical of Arab scents but presented in beautifully modern ways.

Base — The Poetic Legacy:

The fragrance bounds further into exotic territory as the sweetness dries oud and benzoin providing a warm, sensual backdrop of extraordinary depth and longevity. The composition sweetens with resinous notes and lightly spiced woody notes in the middle and drydown phases the oud becoming less animalic as the fragrance becomes more resinous, woodier and slightly spiced with the fruitiness softening while the rose continues to bloom. It gives me butterflies in my stomach like being in love. The combo between fruits and oud is amazing. Longevity is exceptional lasting 8 hours until a skin scent and about 16 hours before it becomes difficult to detect.
