The opening of Black Saffron is a melange of sweet dewy fruit and spice. Cardamom and juniper merge with the bitter citrus of Chinese grapefruit and saffron in an effervescent accord that feels both translucent and spacious. A sweet and fruity beginning balanced out by saffron, often used in perfumery to hold a leather note, with pomelo bringing bitter citrus sharpness to the top. The saffron here manifests more as a textural component, ash and dust, than as a flavouring agent, giving the opening its uniquely contemplative character.

Heart, The Violet Leather:

The dark heart of leather and black violet emerges with quiet authority, a dark suede leather floral that keeps a cooler than you attitude throughout its development. A dark mission of violet leather with a raspberry suede texture, never straying into sweetness. The violet and leather form an inseparable bond, dancing around each other, creating an addictive accord that is simultaneously smoky, floral and completely unique. The sweetness of raspberry, balanced out with an earthy vetiver note, is sublime, giving the fragrance a quietly masculine touch.
