Opening — The Royal Spark:
The opening is unexpectedly bright, almost sparkling. A vibrant burst of lemon, Sicilian bergamot and pink pepper immediately gives an impression of sophisticated freshness the pink berry accord taking the edge off the citrus before making way for something far more extraordinary. This is the opening of a man who wears a suit not because he has to, but because it is simply the right thing to do.

Heart — The Cedar Throne:
Very quickly, woody notes take over particularly cedar, accompanied by angelica imparting a green, dry and noble character unlike anything else in masculine perfumery. A delightfully complex and overall quite bright blend of super crisp spicy cedar notes infused with balsamic pine-floral greenness, slightly bittersweet and oddly dark the angelica bringing a rootiness that gives Royal Oud its distinctive melancholic gravitas. Base — The Millésime Legacy:
The fragrance evolves into a warm luxurious base of Indian oud, creamy sandalwood and clean musk subtle and refined, never aggressive or medicinal. As it dries down it becomes a little sweet with a maple-like accord almost Mysore sandalwood in character. The oud is extended and smoothed into something that projects perfectly off the skin present throughout the entire drydown, a fragrance in a league of its own.
